Two short films by Francois Ozon.

"Summer Dress" Very funny and lively tale of a summer romp. Plenty of sex without regrets. Oh, it must be nice to be young.

See the Sea A little less fun and lively; the sex does not seem very appealing and there is a sinister tone throughout that constantly tips off the viewer that something bad will happen. And I think that is why the ending is such a disappointment, because we already expect it to end tragically but hope it will not. It is plainly obvious to everyone except the lead actress that things are not right but she is too distracted by her loneliness and boredom. A fine performance nonetheless.
