Here is another film you either laugh with or laugh at. I did mostly the latter but I must admit it is still enjoyable in the same way one might enjoy a more energetic Edward D. Wood movie. The opening title sequence pretty much establishes it all: Vampire chick with guns. Lots of guns!
From the opening titles I was pretty excited, it looked like it was going to be a good time. But it is not long before it becomes plain to see that the lead actress cannot act and has the grace of Garfield (but she sure can toss that hair), the dialogue is laughable, the action is poorly staged, and at times the story is just plain stupid. On the point of the acting, it seemed like no one was having any luck talking with those vampire fangs in their mouths.
From the apparent effort that went into filming certain scenes, it becomes clear what this movie really is: a B-grade, blood-soaked, T&A spectacle. And on that level it works fine. It looks like they had fun making it, and the title sequences are fun enough (both the start and end). Plus, the surprise twist at the end really made me smile.
