Either 'Bird People of China' was a fluke, or this film was a mistake. I wouldn't have guessed that they're both by the same director- 'Bird People' was very good- one of the best of the fest... but this one was just boring. He seemed to be doing a bad job of imitating 'Beat' Takeshi, his mentor. Don't bother.
