the tall blond guy goes to japan
Of all the places I've seen thus far in Japan, Kyoto is my favourite. I'm sad that I was able to spend only a little bit of time here. The little flexible schedule I made for myself is not quite as flexible as I'd like now that it's nearing time to go home.
A pretty reflection in the JR station. There are so many parks and temples and places to sit and gardens and trees and rivers... I really wish I could have stayed longer.
I have a feeling I'll be saying this about Japan on the train to Narita airport Monday afternoon too.
But I must move on to see Nagano- the ironic thing is after reporting on te events there for two weeks, formatting the weather info boxes and knowing exactly what was happening there on a minute-by-minute basis, I have absolutely no idea what the place looks like. I've never been there. I've never seen it. Therefore, I must go. I feel I'm doing a disservice to myself if I don't at least visit Nagano. Becides, I need to pick up some souveniers. Tee hee!
