This is the big boss man. He took a picture of me and two of the other Canadian temporary workers, so I decided, rather cockily, to take one of him. He frequently plays with his false teeth, and chain smokes out in the hallway.

I don't know his name.

The other day, I was told a story about one of the restaurants in the Press Centre in Nagano City... Before I tell it though, you must be aware that tipping just doesn't happen here. No tips. You pay for the food, then leave. So, next to the cash register is a bunch of money taped to the wall with a sign reading "Rightful owner please these claim". Apparently, the staff has been finding this money around lunchtime, just left on the tables. "Foreigners are so sloppy with their money!"
