Scantily-Clad Women, Beer, and Bad Food.

Lenny's!

I really have to bring my camera wherever I go. Today at lunch, before the day got really bad, I was enjoying my lunch salad sitting on a decorative planter on a plaza in front of a big building. It was a chilly day, but the sun was shining. Crisp. Presently, I noticed more people were staring at me than I'm used to. In the short time I've been here, I've become accustomed to having people stare at me because I'm so funny looking. But this was more than usual! After a while, I turned around to see if there was something else they were staring at. Sure enough, there was.

Behind me was a woman in a very small bikini, handing out beer to men in suits. This whole thing was being caputured on film, thanks to a photographer with a very fast film-advance thumb. The sight of this was so very odd to me that I didn't evn think of getting up to see if I could get some free beer too. Not that I'm a beer drinker, in retrospect I just thought it would be kinda neato.

Went back to the office, where I proceeded to screw everything up in the worst possible ways. I promise to do better tomorrow, really! Oh my...

So when they finally let me go, I asked about places to eat. My boss told me where to go (no, nothing bad- just the street direction). So I started walking. After 5 blocks down the street, I found this familliar-looking sign:

It's Denny's!
It's Denny's!

I was rather hoping for Denny's "regular" menu, consisting of greasy generally unhealthy foods, priced well above what they should be. I was looking forward to a super-greasy Grand Slam breakfast, actually. What I got was a special Japanese menu, full of what seemed to be very health-conscious food. You see, over here, Denny's is healthy.

So I ordered French toast. At least it was overpriced.
